The Agony of Life

The Agony of Life

The Agony of Life

Our Aunts and Uncles discuss the stuff nobody tells you before you become a parent: hospitals, nappies, parties you have to organise, publics schools versus private, phones, Facebook, and the type of friends you never want your children to bring home. It's all about the family.

The Agony of Life - Ep 3 - The Immortal Years - 18 to 22

The Immortal Years: 18-22 - Welcome to the time where you're at your best‐looking, most popular, and your whole life is ahead of you. Indeed, when they tell stories at your wedding, they will mostly be about this time. So live it well. The Agony Aunts and Uncles read the riot act on good and bad flatmates, eating, drinking, drugs, friends, romances, gap years and first cars. And then they'll be asked whether they took this time in their life for granted, or worse, mistook being young for being immortal.

The Agony of Life - Ep 4 - The Pathfinders - '20s and '30s

The Pathfinders: '20s and '30s - This is the part where our Aunts and Uncles realised that they were now adults who had to become self‐sufficient while deciding how to fulfil their career and social potential. So how did they learn to stand out in job interviews, turn up to work on time after a massive night out, and form opinions on politics, culture and etiquette? During this episode, our Aunts and Uncles will also give us the drum on leaving home for the first time, creating hangover cures, and that inevitable near‐death experience.

The Agony of Life - Ep 5 - Family

Our Aunts and Uncles discuss the stuff nobody tells you before you become a parent: hospitals, nappies, parties you have to organise, publics schools versus private, phones, Facebook, and the type of friends you never want your children to bring home. It's all about the family.
