Doonooch Dancers sing in the language of the Monero people of New South Wales.

Traditional stories, culture and ceremony inspire and define their performances.

The dance company has performed in more than 24 countries as well as at the opening of the Olympic Games in 2000 and the Rugby Union World Cup, also in Sydney, in 2003.

Here, they perform a dance that mimics the movements of the Australian kangaroo. They're on stage at the Festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa, which celebrates indigenous traditions throughout the region.
