Thailand will continue to offer its help to Japan on the issue of abductions of Japanese nationals by North Korea.
Thai Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama, who's on a visit to Tokyo, says Bangkok is keen to see the issue resolved. He was speaking after a meeting with Japan's chief cabinet secretary, Nobutaka Machimura. Thailand maintains diplomatic relations with North Korea, but the abductions issue has prevented Japan from normalising relations with Pyongyang. Produced by Radio Australia and Australia Network |
