Two carvers from two very different countries come together in a cross-cultural exchange in this documentary. A First Nations carver from Canada travels into the jungles of Papua New Guinea and a New Guinean carver travels to urban Canada. Together, they share each others cultures and learn about the myths and legends that inform their individual artistic styles. What they found were similarities in line and form and their two people's art, the animal motifs were different - crocodiles, cassowaries and hornbills in the Sepik region; killer whales, ravens and eagles in the Coast Salish works.
