    About Geraldine

Geraldine Cox prides herself on taking on impossible tasks and creating a haven for orphaned children in Cambodia rates right up there on the difficult scale. But this is a woman who won't take no for an answer. Her energy, determination and joy-of-life has sustained her through diplomatic and corporate careers and now as the matriarch of Sunrise Children's Villages and president of the Australia Cambodia Foundation. Fund-raising, publicity and administration are only part of the equation - Geraldine's love for her 'children' and her commitment to providing an environment for them that nurtures mind, body and spirit is what makes her truly inspirational. "The best kind of success," she says, "is success that brings happiness to other people." Geraldine Cox proves that it is possible for one person to make a big difference.
